same for las vegas.
i have a route that goes from the mountains, thru some topless bars, up some washes, inside several casinos, all over sand dunes, pops into some chicken ranches and finishes off thru virgin desert.

There must be 10-20 guys on the board here in the Phoenix metro area. I would like to get a ride going before it gets too hot (not that that ever stopped me). 20 Bergs on the trail, that would be a sight.
That would be an awesome sight!
How is the riding in Arizona? Is it fairly open, or lots of land closures? How far do you have to go to get to good riding areas?
Yes what a site it would be to see twenty bergs on a trail at once we could have a pool to see which one would be the first to stop. And yes Tuts it is true kangaroos do jump around a bit when placed on fire but it is best to hit them with something hard first like a berg at 100mph.Then place on fire.
I am 20-25 minutes from some really good areas and 3 different MX tracks. I am within an hour from dozens of good riding areas. A lot of single track, jeep roads and desert. Try www.arizonatrailtalk.com
there is a section call AZ. dirt T.V. there dozens of video's of the places and people I ride with. I usually ride the Mile Markers (site of the Desert Mountain Enduro), White Tanks and Bartlett.
Yes they are closing some area's mainly due to building. Im sure it will get ugly in the next 3-5 years.
Premier sold a lot of Bergs here over the years, the only guy's I have ridden with at all (or seen on the trails) are Splat and Sandskipper. I have watched Carl race a few times.
I have a brother inlaw in Vegas, I just might have to drag a bike up there some time.
Berger,
Good to hear you out there! I'm gona be hitting some single track out in the Casa Grand/Maricopa area tomorrow. I have two brother-in-laws that have XR650's (one of them just bought his two weeks ago) and I will be meeting them out at their house tomorrow early morning for some riding. Havn't ever been down to that side of the county with the bike so this area will be new to me. Hope to get that "Husa-ride" going here in the PHX area someday soon, that would be a good time to meet some fellow bergers!!!! We'll have to meet up again and do some more riding. Until then take care and keep the rubber side down!
