Will the 09 fe570 change its own fuel settings enough to run good at 8000 feet???
We have a supermoto race at mammoth mountain ,CA. coming up and I am trying to lose as little power as possible...

Yes it should,

I suggest you do the "burn in" procedure once you get there. If you are unfamilar with this I will explain.

Put the bike on a center stand and start it. Do not touch the throttle! Let it idle for 15 minutes. Your jetting is now complete.

If necessary, take a fan with you to put on the radiators while it is sitting during the burn in procedure to keep the coolant temperature under control.

Again, it is very important that you do not touch the throttle during the burn in process. The computer is using the MAP or manifold absolute pressure sensor, the air temperature sensor, coolant temp sensor, and the 02 sensor to adjust for the ambient conditions. The computer takes about 10 minutes to do this, and then runs a self check for the next 5 minutes to make sure the settings are correct.

It can't get any simpler.
