Revisiting aftermarket exhaust for 2011 FE570

I have a wings pipe on my 390 and all I can say is I couldn't be happier with the performance and also the huge reduction in heat. I have friends that have fmf pipes that work amazing as we'll for them. They are much quieter than my wings pipe but the build quality on the wings is better in my opinion. I think just get the pipe that suits your needs the best and go for it. There's so many good options it's hard to go wrong. 8)

Here's a lesser-known one - italian ZARD:

Absolutely nutty sound! I love it! The motor is started about 0:50 in, and the good stuff starts at around 1:15.

I love the Zard "house sound", they're somewhat better known in the Ducati world. Usually a delightyfully fruity tone, often with a crazy slap!/snarl sound when the throttle is closed. The Sport Classic exhaust is a grreat example:

Anyone know if the new 4.1 Anodized RCT will fit the 570 for sure? They only list the 501 now. I want the blue...

If its for the 501, probably not without modification. The only specific 4.1 Slip-on for this bike is the older Titanium version.

Ok...looks like I'm going with the 4.1 Titanium...I'll post results after installation. Thanks for all the responses...can't wait to hear this bike come alive...no more sewing machine! If it runs cooler, all the better.

Where can a US based buyer acquire a system for the 2011 FE570S? The sound is absolutely AWESOME! I have a brand new Q4 system and I have been complimented several times on the saound by other riders running behind me, but if the YouTube video is any indicator, I have to have it. Any purchasing advice would be great!

Thanks.

My apologies for the belated reply!

Unfortunately I know nothing :) You could maybe check Ducati accessory dealers or other places that carry the Zard line for other brands. That Zard muffler afaik fits KTMs of similar vintage.

Zards are not ultra-rare on Ducatis and a few other brands. They always sound freaking awesome, to the point that I'm very curious about how they shape that sound ... That menacing sound is obviously done very much on purpose.

- I do know they're Italian! Maybe that helps?

That Sard slip-on might sound okay but dear god its ugly! I've had a FMF 4.1 on back order for a few months now.
