I went with Dicks advice and revalve on my 05 550 fc and I am real happy with the way it performs. In fact I have decided that it will be required on any bikes that I have in the future. I have rode four or five bikes that he has done and all were very good for my 200lbs. I went with a 8.8 and 4.6 and it works well for multiple kinds of ridding. It cost $ 200.00 for the rear as I had the spring on it and the kicking is gone with a plush ride that resist bottoming.

i second the praise for ****'s suspension.
on my 98 fx600e, i was able to actually fall off a cliff,
about six feet high, and have a controlled landing without
any bad results.
a similar drop on my 02 fe650e and stock suspension sent me
to the hospital with an a-c shoulder seperation.
its a matter of survival really.

i would recommend ****'s racing as well.

i fell off a cliff and landed on my head.

Taffy had the most perfect tuck and roll landing I have seen. Just like those little kid gymnasts or a tumbleweed. A perfect "10." I saw the whole thing! I thought he was going to be hurt for sure. Nope, not Taffy. I never would of thought it was possible for a guy his age to move like that. Taffy, the human roly poly!!

where you hidden that photo brendan! i shall not rest! i have it on CD whatever, so....

Taffy

As far as I know, no one thought to take a picture. I sure wish I had a video camera, though, as I could of also captured Velosapien's long legged fancy Fred Astaire footwork on the Moab slickrock. He could probably of made it on American Idol, like that william hung guy!

there are 3 photos of you:

trying to get up the gorge
falling back down
picking it up

splat sent me a CD and i can't find it anywhere-suddenly it's worth a lot of money to me!

regards

Taffy

Aww... Why didn't anyone put those in the gallery? I have not seen those. I need a reminder from time to time that I am not perfect!
