Hello!

I have bought a "new to me" 2008 Fe650.

And now I am wondering if you know what is done to these bikes to get them restricted? In Norway these bikes have restricted effect to lower the noise and to reduce emission. My bike is registered with 6kW.

ALSO!

I have read somewhere that the Bergs made by KTM have a problem with the crank nut getting loose. Are there any videos online on how to tighten this?

Regards

To get a 650 to 6kw there is a plastic piece behind the airfilter, but I doubt it's there, no sane person would drive the thing with that in there. If you want to check, take off the seat and air filter. The restriction is probably in the silencer, you need to remove the end cap and cut the curved pipe near the end of the muffler.
You can tighten the crank nut after removing clutch cover and using something (aluminium, plastic, wool cloth) to lock the sprocket and tightening the nut.

Okay, thanks! I might look for an used Akrapovic or something to fit on!

I have talked to a Husaberg workshop and he told me to tighten the bolt with 130nm.
