Reports of Husaberg engine lined up for KTM?

That sounds interesting. For some reason, though, I don't quite believe it. Such a design is pretty revolutionary, and I find it hard to believe that it would not be adapted to other models, should it prove a success. Plus, I recall seeing that Kawasaki (or some other Jap bike maker) was planning on doing the same thing for a number of their bikes.

To me, it sounds like KTM is kinda shooting themselves in the foot with that decision. But, from a Husaberg enthusiast view, I'm kinda happy about the decision. More likely, it's propaganda, and they plan on doing it anyway. Maybe not next year, but if it works, why not do it, right?

If you owned a great idea, why would you not use it? Because of brand loyalty??? I think there's an ark's-load more KTM riders than there are Berg riders, and eventually it will make it to the mothership products.
