Shock collars

Hi, Doug....
By collars I suspect you mean lockrings?? Just loosen both collars 'til spring is loose, turn the shock over and slide the spring cup out. It has a slot in it. The spring will slide off, then the collars can be removed. This is what I do on my '98, plus this is the way the WP manual shows to do it.
