Replacing plastic kickstand foot on fe570

I broke my plastic kickstand foot off after being to lazy to lift my bike onto the stand. I was going to replace it with an aftermarket kickstand but no one makes one. I checked the parts diagrams and they list a replacement foot for the oem stand but i don't know how to remove the broken piece. It sheared off flush with the kickstand bottom and before I order another I would like to know if it is threaded or just glued in. If it is easy to remove somebody with access to a machine shop should start making wider replacement feet.

Check out Brapoffroad.com, they have a replacement foot that they say fits from 98' to present KTM's and since the Berg side stand is the same as the KTM this should work. From the picture on their website it looks like the foot just presses in to the side stand.

It's pressed in, I broke mine, I drilled out the broken bit and had to hammer in the new part.
Just make sure its lined up right in the beginning because you wont move it once its in there.
Good Luck.

It's 14.7mm diameter. I think I used a 10mm drill from memory.
The lug is 26mm deep into the stand.
I did the same as mark2e0, Drilled the old Stand Base out, put the Stand in a vice, lined up the Stand Base carefully and hammered home.

I have 4 of these as spare, because I must keep the Husaberg running at all times around my mates or it is severely picked on and becomes known as the Pusaberg :)

They break off clean at the base hey? Makes drilling easy.
Bit of old fashion Louee mud on the Berger, good wine grape growing soil I think.
