Hi guys. Im trying to replace the head stock bearings but can't get the yolks off...what am i doing wrong? I slipped the forks out. Remove head nut and top yolk came off fine but lower 1 dosnt won't to drop out. Could it b seized up?any advise?

advise yes, first thing, tell us what bike you have, and/or maybe take a pic of what you have taken off so far so we can tell it your forgetting something.....

It's held on by top bearing. Tap it out. Note the lower bearing on these is very hard to replace without a press. Mine took a full day. Very stubborn.

yea, good luck getting the races out, i gave up and left them alone and just replaced the bearings themselves, on mine the order would be the top nut, the upper yoke of the trille tree, then there is a weird collar nut I think, as long as that parts take off like, jimmythehat said, its stuck in the bearing race, mine tapped out pretty easy if i remember right. unless the bearing race looks bad i wouldnt even try to hammer it out......
