Hey i just bought a dirt tricks camchain tensioner and i need some advice how to install it.
Does it require a special tool?
Does it matter when i remove the old tensioner, do i have to lock the engine or something?
And i suppose i have to lay the bike down and install it collapsed like it said on the dirttricks homepage..

Any advice would be good, thanx.

old one just comes out nothing to worry about. I did not lay mine down to put my dirt tricks in, something about intentionally laying down my bike bothered me. I used one of those magnets on a pivot the just fit inside the hole in the large part of the DT tensioner which held the plunger in place till I pulled the magnet free. Actually I had to put the magnet through the big nut that secure the tensioner too so the magnet would hold the plunger up tight till that nut was screwed down tight.

If laying your bike down doesn't bother you I'm sure it would be easier to lay it down.
