Bike in question is an 05 FS650e

Had a bit of a search around but could not turn up much.

The vibratey bastoid vibed itself off the stand warming up in the driveway while I turned my back to shut the garage door.

Bar end and clutch lever ate the dirt but the gear lever managed to eat the driveway :(

I am awaiting some new boots in the mail and for now am riding in sneakers so I have the lever quite low and it sits underneath the casing so it bent itself good and proper.

I managed to bend it back out again enough so it is still usable but its kinda munted and I probably need to look for a replacement.

Problem is "husaberg gear lever" does not yeild much :)

Something like the above looks to be about the right size/shape but I have no idea if it will fit or not.

I have found a few in europe but prices are pretty meh and postage is retarded to Aus, is there any cheaper options?

Advice?

I got one recently off eBay Oz and it was advertised as a VOR 503 replacement. The VOR part number is 55210410 and it is all aluminium.

The berg number is 230-034-02 up to 2003 then the number changed to 800.34.031.000. Tracing back thru the parts manuals it looks like they are the the same for all bergs back to '89, however the later drawings of it look different.

Another option - with a bit of a bend & file a Yamaha TT600 or XT600 lever from the early to mid '80s fits. The XT one even has the rubber thingy on it to protect your boot.

OTTMH the newer style levers will retrofit, but the older model, pre2001 or so, will not due fit later models to the angle as it leaves the shaft and wraps around the clutch cover. At least that is the case with my 650 vs 501.
