I have an 03 Husaberg FS650c It runs but it smokes a lot. I took it to a shop and they did a leak down test and they told me that it was leaking around the valves and rings and needed a rebuild. This engine splits down the middle and the shop did not want to try to do the work. Anyone know of anyone in the US that could do this and about what it would cost?

it'll be the 'tuliped' inlets and the piston will just be either a = totally worn and tilting over or worse B = the piston has had a little seizure on the bore. the answer is fresh inlets and to go to DVSK so it doesn't happen again.
I can't say I know anyone in the States who would do a great job and has done many Husabergs.
I can advise you and sell you a lot of the stuff.
your big fear is the piston/liner. that is engine down and the expense begins.....
I have bike here we call the "NTB". a 2003 FS650e have look at the video I did of it starting on its first day after a rebuild. its on my facebook videos.
