Hey guys,
Sadly I had to sell my 2012 FE570 as it was just sitting around for years while I was gone on a RTW ride, going to list all the parts that I have left over in the next couple of days.
First up is a top upgrade, a Renazco Racing seat that was only used for 2 trips (like the rest of the bike as I left in 2014). Built for a approx 85kg / 185 lbs rider with a 33”, sits maybe 1/2" higher than stock and is a comfortable sofa in comparison. Narrow up front so you don’t feel the width while you are riding standing up.
As you can see it's in excellent condition, especially for an offroad bike. The only small flaw was a tiny 1/2" rip in the front, from a sharp tree stump. I had a professional upholsterer remove the front of the cover, glue it back up with a reinforcement patch from the inside, and then seal it from the outside with sealant as well, just to avoid any moisture getting in, and then restaple it back on. Stronger than stock and not noticeable unless you know where to look.
This was built with a new OEM seat pan and cost around $600 with shipping back and forth.
Will sell for $350.
