Removing rear suspension link

I've read the previous thread on this subject, but would appreciate any additional info as to the removal of the part of the susp. linkage that pivots in the swingarm. I've removed the nut and bolt, but can not remove the link itself. Are there any special methods/ techniques that would help? Does the bushing have to be removed? If so, how. Any replies would be appreciated. :?: :)

Thanks for the helpful reply FC501EAST, I sent ya a PM back. Thanks again. :)

I have the back end of my '98 apart for the first time and am having the same trouble as huskylives did getting the bearing inner out of the swingarm/suspension linkage where it is buried down the blind hole. All the other bearings are pretty good and well greased but this one is a bit notchy. I'm guessing all the others had been serviced but this one may have never been apart??

Gary - I don't suppose you had any magic solutions on this when you PM'd huskylives a few years back?

Anyone else have any suggetions?
