Removing mid pipe on 570

Trying to remove the mid pipe on my 11' 570s so I can get it ceramic coated but for the love of God please tell me I don't have to move or remove the motor! I have removed the head pip, have the bike completely stripped down, and removed the rear shock and still can't get it off.

Does anyone have some words of wisdom on how to get this thing off? :?

With the shock removed you should have enough room to remove the stock mid pipe.It is even tighter when you have a larger diameter pipe in there but it is still possible. Keep trying and good luck!

Oh yeah, i thought the bracket would have been a given! That will make it a lot easier if you havent done so already!

Thanks guys, I will try removing the engine bracket when I get home tonight and see how she goes.

With the bracket and shock removed, I had little problem removing the midpipe. It is a tight puzzle piece for sure. It was tougher getting it back in after being wrapped, being thicker.

Yea putting it back on is worse.Loosen the sub frame a couple of inches and you you wont scratch it .Skred

It was easy once I removed the bracket. Now off to Performance Coatings and it should pop in just as easy. Thanks for the input. Seems easy now but when you haven't done it, it always helps to get advice from others that have already done it.

Thanks for the advice.
