hi all im removing all my electric starter....all the gears in the engine and the starter motor as it has not been wired for years so was wondering if any one new were in the uk i could get a bung that fills the hole were the starter motor was and how much they cost

i have removed starters on my other bergs and used an automotive rubber freeze plug. 1-3/4" inch or about 35mm the plug is rubber with a metal outer washer. and nut and bolt worked just fine also add a little silicone seal around the rubber. the factory plug is nicer but harder to find. the freeze plug is a universa l. type im sure they sell these over in your land.hope this helps

dont know who sells them in your area but the part you need is 80040034100 it comes with the oring 0014060103 you will need a securing bolt 07700242030.
The alloy plug sells for $40 in OZ with a free oring and the bolts $1.

No you need to secure it from the inside of the engine (bolt it)
