i need to fit the regulator and that other box thingy type thing back under the frame however they go. i put them under the seat some 3 years ago but now with the auxillary tank they must go back to from whence they came!

i thought they fitted on the post that i havre the carousel of 'earths' bolted too?

can anyone help?

it's a silver square box and the regulator. what order, how and where?

Taff,

I think you've got it. I recall mine being on a little "boss" almost directly above the head. There should be two wires that would go inline before the battery (if one). Check the wiring schematic for exact placement.

Should be staightforward.

Taffy,
Silver box goes on 1st, connectors towards rear.
Regulator 2nd.
Earth carousel 3rd all on the same post.

I'm sure you already got it sussed! :wink:

that's a great help troops, especially logjumps pictures - thanks!

i actually mounted them inside the right hand frame tube for the day just to get me out of trouble. i think my rear brake resevior used to sit there.
