i got an efm built for my 700 (08 650), more peak force than all the other clutches
plates fried in 15 min, not enough force to lock up the clutch till 3000rpm and no way to limit the max force, tried doubling the weight of the balls and re machining the ramps.. no go.
you need more force than the oem clutch because the coefficient of sliding friction is less than static and the clutch always slips before it grabs. Ive ridden many bikes with auto clutches and didn't like any of them .. personal preference.
the "new idea" thick friction disc is as TomTom wrote a much more refined idea and the 570 has a larger diameter basket so more opportunity to work.. the old engine has a clutch much the same size as a 125 2T
the main negative I found is that the positively connected feel at low RPM is just gone
