just installed a Rekluse Z start pro to an 09 Berg 450.

all is good in the hood but the clutch override isnt really happening, lever has to right against the bar to work, and is awfully light.

i only installed one of the bevelled washers on top of the push rod along with the rekluse spacer, should i either have both washers or neither?

also ive had to wind the tickover up a bit more, not a huge problem but would like lower tickover with a qucker take up on the clutch, ive got 6 TC balls in it atm.

any help greatly recieved

Cheers

Hey Johnnie,

can't remember the exact set up of my rekluse re; heavier balls and bevelled washers but my clutch is very light and doesn't override totally, especially on warm-up.

To be honest though you shouldn't need it, unless you slip the clutch out of corners, but it should still do that.
Quite a lot of Rekluse users put the left hand rear brake conversions on so have no manual clutch.

Hope this helps

Carl

ahh, thanks for that, bit of a shame really. would like it just as a piece of mind. see how i get on with the clutch as to how desperately i pursue the hydraulic override feel...

i have the rear brake thingy too, would prefer the clutch, may try and make a nice lever to incorporate both on the bars, see what happens!
