Thinking about installing A Rekluse on my 06 fe 450. Anybody else haveone on a comparable machine? Should I wait for the Rekluse Pro to be available for the Hussy's?

I also think about to install a rekluse on my bike.

But i a bit concerned about what happens in real thigt terrain. Will the engine boil due to higer oiltemp?

Some times my bike boils when i am stuck in the forrest.

have all 400 owners got the black death or summink? what makes your bike so special that it isn't even a cousin to the 400?

ok, they've changed the ignition since and have new decals - your right. sorry!

I have a rekluse in an 06 496. It seems to work well. The clutch was in an 04 650 for 2 years before the 496, so durability should not be an issue. I have not boiled the bike over, but the fan will run constantly in the tight stuff.

To answer your question not much. Bad weather, to much work [to pay for the toys] and the obligatory Christmas events. All work and no play is making Ron a very angry boy!

temp

Why would the engine temp rise with a R/clutch??? The mags here rave about this clutch and my dealer has one fitted to his 05-450 and loves it. The mag ADB has tested one some bikes. They are expensive, but come std on the 450 Gas Gas.

i've had a rekluse on 2 different fe400s and in the really tight stuff think to myself "boy, i'm really abusing the clutch plates", but periodic inspection shows no significant wear/ abuse. as far as overheating is concerned, even when its really hot its not a problem.

Scully, they are not standard on GasGas. The GG has a slipper clutch where as the Rekluse is an auto clutch.
