There has been plenty of discussion about the pros and cons of the Exp compared to the Z start but non about the two Exps.

Just thought I'd ask people's opinions on the two and see what peoples experiences were.

One has the complete kit including clutch basket and inner clutch hub.....Core EXP. The other has just the centrifugal clutch aparatus. I would just go with the EXP and not the whole kit.

Thanks for the reply. What's your reasons behind the choice? I appreciate the Exp is a lot cheaper; are there any disadvantages? I can't quite get my head round how they would still manage to sell the Core if the Exp was just as good.

Personally, I would be very leery about using an auto clutch that used fewer clutch plates than stock in engines larger than 450cc.

I thought there are three grades. One: the clutch lever doesn't work at all. Two: (the one I have) where the clutch still works but not like OEM feel, and Three, for around $300 more the clutch lever retains complete OEM feel. For a 450 I have no problem with this middle grade but if I end up getting one for my KTM 250XCF, or was gonna do any MX with it, I'd definitely go for the most expensive one.
