Rectifier position? 02 650

When I got my 02 650 it was pretty much stripped down, so I'm rebuilding a bit of a jigsaw. I'm refitting the loom and have no idea where the finned rectifier bolts to?

Also I've got a violet and a brown wire "spare" at the top of the loom. They appear to be in the brake circuit. But there's already a front brake light switch wire coming off the reservoir.

What gives fellas?

You need to print this. wiring diagram is in it.
I will look on mine tomorrow if you don't get the answer you need. I have the tank off and the engine out so it should be an easy look.

After you check the wiring scheme, here you have some pictures of the position of the reg/rect for some guidance.

Thanks for this, problem solved.

The 2 wires "spare" at the headstock were the side light wires.

The wiring diagram is straight forward, so all is good.

Where does the negative wire from the battery hook into?

Frame, were ever you feel like.
The "star" is also earth, if you want to make another, better.

Also I've made new cables thicker than the oem ones.

Thanks for the picture. I'll bolt it to where the choke was, as I'm choking from the manual decomp lever now.
