He guys and gals, I am a new Husaberg owner and so far I love the bike. I have had it for only 4 days and I have spent everyday after work hitting the local trails with it. All I can say it is cheaper than a therapist.

I am pretty much set up when it comes to bike gear with the exception of the tools I need for the trail and basic maintenance. I am really looking for what tools and other stuff I should have with me while riding? I have a the FE 550e so I am doing a bit of riding to the trail head and then hitting trails a bit harder than the average fire road. I am about 30% road and 70% offroad. I am on trails that a 4x4 truck would have to be in 4 wheel drive and in 4 low in some sections. I don't mind a bit of weigh but I don't want to drag tools that would allow me to strip my bike down.

Any recommendations? Yes I bring electrical tape and wire with me.

I would bring spare water incase the engine overheats, extra oil, a flat tire repair kit , spare spark plug+wrench and a spare fuse.

Member steve has an excellent thread on here about trail tool kits well worth a read if you want to search for it

I take sufficient tools to remove: wheels, calipers, seat, fuel tank, spark plug, access air filter plus a few other useful tools. On longer rides I'll carry a chain tool and a length of spare chain (3-4 links) and a spare joining link. It all depends on your spannering ability.
