Hi guys,
can anyone give me some advice as far as the best jetting for Moab? Most of the riding will be at around 4000-6000 ft, with one day of going all the way from 4000 to 10000 (la sal pass, if needed I can rejet for that day, but I would rather not deal with this in the middle of the trip).
Besides the obvious concern of the power loss if the jetting will be off, this time around I'm also concerned about the fuel consumption (I usually don't pay attention to it as previous long rides had gas stations along the way, Moab area doesn't)
Here's what I run on previous rides, the bike ran fine, but I can't tell if the fuel consumption was ok or not :dontknow:
TX setup pilot:40 / main: 182 / needle : OBDVR 4 from the top (sea level)
Cloudcroft, NM pilot:40 / main: 160 / needle : OBDVR 4 from the top (9000 ft)
Ouray, co setup pilot:35 / main: 172 / needle : OBDVR 2 from the top (8000-12000 ft)
If I can get away without having to deal with the OBDVR needle, that'll be great as I find it a bit of a PITA to deal with it.
