recommended engine oil for 2000my Fe400e

Hi All,

I'm guessing that the answer to my question will be based on personal opinions, but what is the best engine oil for a 2000 - 01my FE400E ...?

Does it need to be fully synthetic when your changing it so often ...?

I recommend a 10/40 or 15/50 semi synthetic.

the latter for the summer. about 2 full days to the oil.

the better the bike starts the longer you can leave the oil in. if the carb floods then I'd change oil every ride.

the semi saves the clutch and starter gears from slipping.

I'm Motorex here but Motul is another good one...could carry on
