Hi there Husa brothers,

Looking for any recommendations for a really good wet weather enduro jacket - I am over my old Shift number, which doesn't do a very good job of shedding water and ends up weighing a tonne...

Any suggestions on tried and proven jackets guys ?

Cheers!

Azza.

My vote goes to the Klim overland jacket. It used to be called the Traverse. Awesome goretex construction, and bombproof.

Klim is great gear but pricey. It will be interesting to see how the quality is now that they are owned by Polaris . I have a problem wearing a 500 dollar coat when I'm going to be bouncing off trees and sliding on the ground. There is lots of gore tec gear out there at a fraction of the price of Klim. I bought a new, old stock teknic monsoon goretex jacket for 99 dollars on fleabay. Keeps me dry as a bone has removable liner and at that price I'm not worried about damaging it in a race. I have the Klim traverse pants that I wore once racing. They are now damaged and I will never wear them again in a race.

I have to agree. With Klim, you get what you pay for. If you want the best, its going to cost. It's all I buy.......

The Klim Traverse suit I have is far and away the best bike gear I've ever worn. My Tech 8s come a close second.

Do you want me to define 'best'?
