Rebuild old engine or replace with new???

Hi all,

I'm hooked on my 650. It does everything I want with huge amounts of "grin factor" and everytime I ride a lesser bike (read "non husaberg") I think to myself that I will one day have to replace this one with another one... Or will I?

When my engine eventually gives up - it has to one day! - i was wondering if it would be better to have the original engine rebuilt and incorporate as many of the upgrades and mods that are supposed to make the newer bikes better and more reliable or if it would be a better option to try and source a brand new complete 04 motor with all new ignition, carb, starter, etc.

I am thinking that perhaps the new engine would be a better option if price and availability don't become too much of an issue.

It would be interesting to hear some of your thoughts on this...

Cheers

Off load biggish and buy new, treat yourself buddy your only here once. Everything wears on a bike not just the motor. mopedsmile:
