Reasonable Price On Leftover 06 FE550??????????

Hey ya'll,

I seriously looking into a FE550 and I found a dealer nearby with 2 leftover new 2006 FE550's. What kinda price should I be expecting to pay? I found another dealer willing to sell a 07 fe550 for $9450+fees (canadian monies, of course, I think these days thats about $8600usd.) Considering 08's are right around the corner I figured I might be able to get a sweet deal. Perhaps $500-800 less than an 07? More or less?? Help a brother out with his 'berg dream.

I paid $6999 cdn for a leftover 06 FE450E at a bike dealership in Ontario back in April. With the 08's coming soon and this riding season more than halfway done, I wouldn't pay much more than that even for a 550.

I got some great news...

I put a deposit down on a 07 FE550 from "Scott" here on the site. Of course I'll post the pics when I get it as well as my short and long-term reviews! 8)

Suffice to say, I'm pretty excited. :greenjumpers:

1.00 canadian=.947 US

$6999 canadian=$6633 US.

not true, as of today 1.00 USD = 1.056 CAD

I was only poking fun at the US ecomomy. I've heard some projections saying Canadian-US on par by the start of 08. Of course only projections. It's great for me, get to buy all kinds of motorcycle stuff down there for cheap!
