Rear tube size?

Hi,

quick question, searched and couldn't find an answer.

I Have a 2012 FE390 the rear's fitted with a 140/80 with an 18" x 2.15" rim

I recently purchased a Ultra Heavy Duty tube for the rear but the tube has 110/100D - 18" written on it.

Will it still fit? do they make tubes 140? or is it one width fits all?

Thanks.

Yes you can run the Ultra Heavy Duty tube for the rear (tube has 110/100D - 18" written on it).

I am running the following with no problems:
140/80x18 IRC M5B Soft Terrain Tire
Bridgestone Ultra Heavy Duty Motorcycle Tube 110/100x18

Hope this helps,
Todd

Thanks for that Todd, Yeah the Ultra's I got are Bridgestone too hopefully no more pinch flats!! Do you run lower or high pressure with Ultra's?

The front tube's the same its got something like 90/100x18 written on it and my tyres 90/120x18 or something like that just guessing of the top of my head.

Thanks

Hopefully no more pinch flats!!

Since I have been running the IRC M5B with the Bridgestone Ultra Heavy Duty Motorcycle Tube (UHDMT) I have never gotten a flat in 3 years (I average three tire/tubes a year). As a side note, last nite I gave a friend a used tube to fix his flat, friend was amazed at how much thicker the UHDMT was to his tube. Then we went on line and ordered the tire and tube.

The IRC M5B is a tough tire and the UHDMT is also tough. I have installed two rim locks (ultra lights) to hold the tire tight and only run 5 to 6 lbs of air. You may want higher pressure if you are running a different tire.
