New to the Berg thing. Just started wrenching on it this winter. Unbolted the top of the shock to get the battery out for the winter and noticed that the shock has some latteral movement. Is this a sign that my bearings/bushings need to be replaced? If so.....how easy is it to loose the bolts inside the swingarm? I popped off the black rubber plugs on the swingarm to have a look at the bolt and it looks pretty hollow in there. Oh yeah, it's 05 450 with 4600 mi on it.

I have them in stock. remember that the top and bottom heims are different to each other. i know there is confusion in some parts books.

I guess that answer means yes, it is worn and needs replacing. Anything I should know about doing this?

yes It's knackered. ummmm? there is a circlip just like on a piston that you can forget so you need to flick that out. you'll need to use a vice and some old sockets to press it out. you don't want to be hitting things fella...

it would be really nice to have a name fella, manners cost nothing.
