I've had a couple flaps wear through due to higher speed road riding.
I bought a Cycra rear flap and it turns out to be made of plastic rather than the rubber KTM uses. I thought I got screwed, but turns out the flap works like a charm and doesn't flap around. It does exactly what you expect and let's you think about more important things.
