Have you or do you know of anyone who has fitted one of these Acerbis lights/guards to a 01-04 Berger?
I have been looking for an alternative to my standard FE501e rear light with no success. Because of the 'V' shape in our rear tail guards if makes it impossible to fit anything other than standard...

it comes with its own plastic part too...u wont need any part of the stock one 
i know people whove put em on other bikes...they look GREAT and are VERY small but really bright

I have the acerbis enduro, had to do a small mod, pictures of my enduro bike are in my gallery, I have one for my Motard where I mounted 2 fairing indicators to each side of the same guard and wired it so it can be removed in minutes and plugs directly to a harness under the seat, I have tried to download pictures onto my gallery but are having a few problems, hope this helps.
I fitted up the UFO replacement tail-light for KTM 00-03
Just had to drill the hole in the side of the guard.
and fit a longer bolt and spacer in the rear fender.
No cutting or bending required. enough wire to make it under the tank.
If you wanted an even better fit, and you had a heat gun, you could (after fitment) hit it with some heat to relax it and custom fit it.
This would let the tail lower a little more.
I am very happy, as is.

Tail light change
04HUS650SM , Hi, how did it go with the tail light ?
I'm a new owner (and member), I've an '04 FE450 and I'm looking to change the tail light. I'd seen the Acerbis model and it looked good.
Read your response's which have helped make up my mind but wondered if you'd made the change.
