In a related thread about front sprockets it was mentioned that Husky front sprockets{2 stroke and 4 stroke w/spacer}will interchange with a Husaberg. My question is what will interchange with the rear sprocket?Very useful information a need to know. Thanks

Thanks,it is always a good idea to know ahead of time.Looks like a good outfit. Thanks again.

Thanks for the replies.I own a 96 FE501 Husaberg and I can order rear sprockets from either of the ones on previous posts but what if I have to have one right then. What would I have to do :?: It can happen, proably not in my case  Thanks for letting me be a worry wart  .

If you are worried order a spare set
now.Extra clutch levers etc.are a good
thing to keep hanging on the garage wall.

If I was in a bind, for my 02 I'd go to a KTM dealer and get a rear sprocket for a 400, 520 RFS bike. Most of my riding friends are on orange bikes. There rear hubs look to be same as my 02 470. I feel if you do good maintenance on your bike you'll never be in to position of needing an emergence rear sprocket! The modern sprocket technology has came so far, unless you’re a total Iron man you'll never break one etc. (sidewinder, Iron man,) With the power of these berg’s I feel you should keep a closer eye on the front sprocket.

Thanks for the advice.Don`t worry I watch my chain and sprockets like I do the rest of my bike like a hawk :) .Thanks again and take care.

Ironman sprockets are the only way to go, I have one that has over 6000 miles on it just starting to show wear. But since these are not case hardened, but hardened all the way through it will probably make it another 6000miles befor it is even close to hooked. It has approx .5mm wear.
Bad news is I don't think they will fit a 96. :(

I downloaded a catalog from sprocket specialists and I think that has things covered for me.Thanks JoeUSA for the link that was what I was looking for. Thanks to this website I can go to a shop where I get parts{sometimes}I discover that I know more about the part and the bike than they do. and 8O for them. One of these days I might upgrade but for now everything is just fine for me.Just snailing along  .Thanks and take care.
