Radiator fan switch

What is wrong with the factory 100 / 95 unit?

I have read on here there is a 95 / 90 unit available:
Accessory fan switch from an '84 BMW 318i

Here are the specs of the factory Husaberg unit if you need to compare to one at the shop:
14mm x 1.5mm thread
The thread part is 11.4mm long

I try not to go riding when it is that hot but have been on a few hot days at Louee chasing the kids real slow up the rocky tracks out there.
The stock Thermo Switch is perfect.

You're more likely to have a problem with the exhaust heating the fuel up in the tank and boiling the fuel. I only noticed this after I switched to the little stubby anodised fuel breather vent which has a one way valve that stops the air getting out. I will be running the reflective shields people have been using on the bottom of their tanks when I get time and maybe I will wrap the mid exhaust pipe, not sure on that one yet.

I run the Trailtech Thermometer and it never goes over 104C and it never boils. You will be OK with the stock Thermo Switch and Factory Fan:

Guys, my 570 vapor locked weekend before last, and I had previously installed DEI Reflect-A-Cool tape on the underside of the tank and wrapped the midpipe with DEI titanium exhaust wrap. The fuel in the tank was outgassing aggressively - a condition I can readily detect because I've replaced the black rubber factory hose with clear fuel line. After a 30 minute cool-down in the shade, the bike still wouldn't start. I have replaced the 100/95 radiator fan switch with the 95/90 NAPA replacement, but I don't yet know if the problem is solved. Suffice it to say that there is a design flaw on these bikes, and that a compound solution is nessary to address it.

Not sure I have never ridden my FE570 in traffic, especially around Drummoyne. Victoria Rd is bad enough in a car
I was assuming you were out in the dirt ridding and was wondering why you were riding on a 38C day

I would run the stock Thermo Switch and keep an eye on the temp with the Trailtech. Mine runs at 104C max, so if you don't go any higher than that in traffic you will be OK.
