Hi I was just wondering if anyone has had their rad anodised before and if it's ok to do so?

I would expect that the anodizing would represent a bit of a thermal barrier that would decrease the radiator's ability to cool the engine. This is evidenced by the fact that bare aluminum is conductive but the anodize coating is not.
That being said, they've been painting radiators for a long time and paint is a thermal barrier too.
