Racing an 2002 501FE

Sorry if i've posted in the wrong section.

Hey by the way im' thinking of taking my 501 to the track does any one here race one.

i used to love Mx but thinking the bike might be to big for that i'm up for opions stories and the like, also i will be doing Enduros for sure i'm just getting used to riding again i stoped about 10 years ago and now back in to it i've had the bike about a year and its been great got the kicking sorted but still need to learn it on somthing lol but hot first kick gotta love that

I have the exact same bike, and I broke my wrist badly over a simple jump a few months back. I find it to be too tall, powerful and heavy on an MX track. If you're a really good MX rider, maybe you could to alright. It should be an excellent enduro racer as long as you've got it set up right so you can get it restarted quickly if you stall it.

seems to be set up nice for me. quick start after a fall could be a problem need to get the e-start working
