I bought a 2001 R6 starter motor off ebay from England. It is a lot smaller than the one in my FE600 1996. Have I bought the wrong one or do I have the wrong bike for an R6 starter motor. Mine starts on the E start when cold but not when hot. I'm half way through checking valve clearance hoping it will make a difference. I'm amazed the radiater has to come out to check the exhaust valves. Gary
