Questions about Owners Doc.

I want to modify my carb. as in the owners doc.
My bike is a FEE400 1998.
Does it work on a carb with a cutaway at 5, is it correct that i just cut off 1.75 mm.
C1 on needle , does that mean #1 from top or button.

clip 1 is always counted from the top fella. yes, removing 1.75mm will give you a 3.25mm cutaway. you will need to file the ramp in the side of the carb again by the same amount so that the idle screw can function properly.

whilst i liked my jetting it was done purely by me and i was 3/4 done when i went to the keihin.

you may wish to consider one of the other two jetting settings. don't be put off by the fact that they are for a 501. the settings should be very similar!
