So my machinist/mechanic hurt his back and needed help. I made the 5 hour drive up to his shop and, well, it sure is something! ATK, Husky, Triumph and old bergs from wall to wall. Damn near impossible to work in. Super awesome guy though. Anyway, I'm a lousy mechanic and I have lots of questions that I'll post up when I go back (umm, where does this go? It's not even in the parts manual"). Best part is, mostly doing it myself so I can learn something. Not so good part is I'm a sad novice. Was way too busy working to take pix (I had a small window to get it done . . . I didn't make it). Still, here's some pix





Not having seen the bike for almost a year, I cant remember where some of the parts I took off (to get the engine out) go. Still, I'm sorta pleased with figuring out most of it. I'll post up questions for the final details.
