As a new owner of a '11 FE570, I have been looking for a skidplate, handguards and rad guards. Planning a trip to Moab in the spring and want to have all the bases covered.
Could someone point me in the right direction to purchase these items. The rad guards must work with the fan as I will be getting that also.
Thanks

Moose has radiator guards that fit the Husabergs. Almost any barkbuster/handguard will work, so suit yourself on that. I recommend the Husaberg alloy aluminum skidplate. You might also consider the Husaberg rear brake disk guard.

Hey mate

Google bandboffroad, their new rad gaurds which I have are a work of art but dont allow for the fan but their older version does which you still can buy off them, they also make an awesome chain guide and case protector and bash plate.

Cheers

Personally, I like the Flatland Racing skid plate, the Bulletproof Designs radiator guards, and the Fastway Performance F.I.T. hand guards. You can get them all from CycleBuy, as well as other on-line shops.

Here is a photo of mine. A lot of people get the radiator guards in anodized blue.

I second the bulletproof rad guards. I have the anodized blue and the color is off but they are really strong. My bike was stolen and thrashed pretty hard and wrecked harder  , but no damage to the radiators

Awesome! Thanks to all of you for the info. I really like the look of the Fast way hand guards. Thinking those are for sure.
Never thought much bout the disc guard. Suppose that will be considered.

I like that skid plate DeeG. Notice you run the for seal dust protection too (on the Dale 'E' O). Also spocked the tugger strap on the front. Do you run one on the back too? I got the 70 degree tank and need a strap but wasn't sure about stresses back there with the tank on...your bike is lookin' good. Guess I still have some goodies to buy. I have never run Rad Guards but considering Moab in the spring and I sure would hate a rock to ruin my mission.
