Has anyone tried the Pro Moto Billet products?

I'm interested in the long silencer insert for stealth riding.

Even though I like the exhaust tone of my 501, I do get tired of noise level after a couple of hours. I realize there will be some power loss on the top (which is NOT where I spend much time), but I was wondering about effect on the midrange power. In theory it could be a no effect or actually have a slight boost in the mid range power, but I don't like spending $200 to experiment.

I have the spark arrestor and shark fin from them. It's quality stuff. I am sure it will perform as advertised. If you have any doubts you can call them and ask what your exspectations should be. They are a pretty friendly bunch.

I did, they had general info such as I posted, but no real specifics.

No returns even if it is excessively restrictive and restricts the power excessively.

promoto inserts

Hey Splat, a couple of my riding buddies have the promoto insert on there CRF's and they love them. They do say it takes a little off the top end power, but added a little on the bottom/middle. They also said it made the bike a little easier to ride in technical sections. The product looks great and quality seems top of the line. I don't think you'll be disappointed.BENDBERG

Yep....got my shark fin from them too. Fit perfectly and protected my rear disk the first time I rode with it. The BIG problem with it is that it bolts up to the two fairly small lugs on the rear caliper aluminum carrier. It did protect my disc, but it bent and then snapped off one of the cast lugs. Called Z-Racing and a new carrier is not available seperately....you gotta buy the caliper WITH IT for about $250.

BUT, for about half that, I just got one of these billet "shark fins" that protect the disc AND replace the ENTIRE carrier:

Fit my FE650 perfectly too....
