Problems starting in heavy rain

Got rained on pretty bad the last two rides, and both times the bike wouldn't start with the electric leg anymore when everything was saturated. It's an 08 FE550. When I pressed the button, water was squishing out of it, too. Haven't seen that before. Lights and all worked fine after the bike was kicked to life.

Anybody had this happen? Is it the switch? Or coincidence and everything is fine?

Another thing, is there a place to get the stator upgraded to a higher output? Thanks guys!

Take all of your electrical connectors apart, clean them out with Lectra motive contact cleaner by CRC, blow out with compressed air, and then fill with di-electric grease and re assemble. wipe off excess grease. If the connector is full of grease then nothing else can get in.

If water is getting into the start button, then you need a new one.

Look up member Sparks on the site, he did a nice rewind on my Kokusan. 120 watts continuous no heating problems. Let me know if you need help getting in touch with him.

This is the usual problem for the vehicles and electricity that it does not allow the game to start easily, as it freezes. Same for the vehicle it create the problem of the clutch as well as the starting problem.
