Gday, Thanks for all the information on this site.
I'm about to jump in on a 450FE 2009, and have a few questions.
After owning an 03 EXC 450 and being bump steered off every root and rock this side of the black stump (shock work and steering damper helped a little), can I expect a compliant, predictable ride from the 450FE in stock trim (I'm 77kg / 169 pounds with gear) and bush ride single track at medium to slightly faster pace? Also
1 Do you recommend a damper (whats the Berg version like), (any one mounted a WER)
2 What bits are essential to protect this bike from hard bush riding (rear disc gard, alloy bash plate) ect
3 Anyone cut down their seat (for a 30in inseam), and was it enough without lowering shocks.(if your shocks were lowered how did it affect handling, I've heard this can actually improve handling)
4 Is a ventilator fan nessesary
Thanks in advance for feedback or any other relevant info, Cheers Sav
