Yes it's to keep snow out. We ride in the mountains and the snow is up to the handlebars. The air filter ices up then.

Hopefully it won't be a issue after I turbo it. :)

Great looking setup, nice shot.
Im going to run just a prefilter w/o a foam filter this year, recommended by Brett at TS.

Thanks. Ya that's all you really need. I just use a prefilter for my turbo Nytro (Impulse turbo). The previous owner set it up like this and it works so I decided not to mess with it.

I got an extra set of shrouds with my bike and just happen to find a guy who was selling some graphics for cheap, $25, so I couldn't pass them up.:p

Dan, thanks for bringing them to the track and the price was awesome! ;) I also just put some black wheels on (off my KTM), looks good, 2008 ish. Going to pick up some blue rims and re-lace my old silver wheels to blue, for that 'modern' look.....

The blue beast currently sleeps, awaiting some katoom donor off road wheels. House renovating is eating my pennies [emoji22]

Ready for a winters ride with my old wheels off my KTM. I'll get some blue wheels at the beginning of the year, hopefully.

HusaPorn!!!!!!

All scrub up ready to pound ground. Well almost still need fork seals, front brake pads and tires. This motorbike make much power.
Wow! Too much power for fouled front brake pads with fork oil. Looks like we lucky, start right up, idle nice, no leaks, maybe fat main jet, wheelies at will!!!!

My friend's '05 FE 450 ... Am storing it for him in my workplace parking garage. Walk past it from time to time. Love this bike! So sensible and so nutty at the same time.
