I have 2 gt17 turbo's laying around, off a 660cc charade. I'm wondering what 1 on my berg would be like. Get a bit of BRAWWWWWT TSH action happening.

whats your thaughts?

Uncle Bob over at supermotojunkie is working on a turbo 400 DRZ suzuki, i think it is almost done. CLICK HERE
This may give you an idea what it may take to do it.

the only problem may be the carby, everything else I have laying around from previouse projects.

dunno.

nah it's cool to see them come alive.

if I run a 3mm copper gasket that will decompress the motor enough and hold pressure, and going a draw thru setup will illiminate carbie issues. Then if it's crap I can put it all back to stock.

sholdn't be that hard really........ SWEEEET

just go blow thru and injection

blow thru before draw thru any day

if you can afford to do it ........

how would ya go with the injection on it tho? road bike kit or sumthin. then I'd need an ecu cause mech injection sucks balls.

Be Wary... there was a few details sent in to either ADB or Dirt Action Magazines in Aust. where a guy had put a small Garrett turbo on his KTM 640 LC4 hard enduro that had been converted to supermoto.

Apparently all went well on the wind up, but at full noise, the velocity of air through the carb kept the slide forced open, I reckon the solution was simply to add heavier spring to the carb slide.

Azza.
