Been having some issues on my FE570 09 lately.
Symptoms being random slow turnover while actuating the start button, and last ride it cracked up intermittently while riding.

Today I went down to the bike pushed the starter button with ecu detached and it was slow turning, grabbed the cable mentioned and pulled it up and it would go, pushed it down slow, pull again go asf.

Positive cable between battery and starter relay gone bad.
Had a copy of the cable made and put it in and its fine again.

Nothing can be seen externally on the cable, Ill slice it open and see, just a heads up!

Make sure any wire is clean and tight at contact points also use of Dielectric I recommend it.

cable salad

Hello Tom. Had an old V8 Mustang that did the same thing. New cable was $5! Many years ago. Good luck, L
