Porsche type valve adjustment tool! $6.79

While looking on E-bay, I have found a source for the porsche type valve adjustment tool or feeler gauge for $6.79 and it is a regular in stock item. Just scroll down the page until you see the tool listed under part #ST P213. samstagsales.
I called him and he said that was a regular stock item so no more having to wait for your local porsche dealer to get one for you. The website lists this as a .004" but that converts to the 0.1mm that we need.

This dealer is only a couple hours from me and I would be glad to call him back and try to get a good deal on several of these and maybe be able to offer them on the site or I could just mail them out to whoever wants one.

Valve tappet feeler guage

Hi, newby....
Motion-Pro makes a short, double-ended tappet feeler, part # 08-0053. It has a .004 on one end, and a .005 on the other. Costs about $4, most dealers can get it quickly, many carry them as stock. I have used them on several bikes, including my '98. The .005 end is a great no-go indicator for too-loose adjustment.

I have used both on the My 02 Berg. I prefer the Porsche adjuster because it give a better "feel". It is necessary to make a couple of custom bends in the handle to get in the exhaust side.
 
Thanks I just got off the phone with my porcs dealer and he said the tool is now out of production. hopefully this is a source for me to get the tool?
