it's funny how you say that! i phoned sparks up today crying because the CDI on the 501 i have been working on advances in the wrong direction just like one i did a month ago and bleeeted here about it! i wish you'd jumped on that thread - we really don't get good threads going like we used too.....

Hi Taffy--
i am on my 4th cdi==they said it was a ground problem (earth) i still don't really think so. i had one only last for 5 starts then it died. was just thinking, maybe a bad run, knowing sim's rep. i even wanted to use a 470 cdi but it was $450 + us. why the price difference? maybe they built it with better parts. i love the bike but with all the cdi's and stator, i have more money in elect. parts than an 02 is worth.
