Hi all, just got my PMXTEC headlight kit and fender to upgrade my 05 fs650e since the headlight is complete garbage and looks outdated to me.

I'm trying to follow the instructions provided by the manufacturer on installing it on the older model bikes, but am confused at a few parts already. If anyone could shed some light on my situation that would be excellent!

"2. From the main wiring harness connect the yellow wire and white wires together using the included wire with male connections on each end"

There are many yellow and white wires, and there are no obvious ones that connect into the previous headlight, so I'm not sure what to do here

"c. Plug the male ends of both adapter wires into the OEM headlight connector. One should be connected to the white wire and the other to the brown wire. It doesn't matter which wire connects to which."

My OEM headlight connector only has a brown, green and blue, no white. Does the color matter? Does it change from KTM to Husaberg? I asked before buying it if it would fit my bike and I was told yes. So I'm not sure why there is such unclear instructions to do this, unless its my bike that has been changed previously.

Please help me, wiring is not my strong suit at all!

Ok, looked at the husaberg kit.
So its a kit that converts your standard h4 lamp to a h7 lamp.
Today you have normal and headlight.
After the conversion you will have same light no matter if the light switch is in normal or headlight.

Look at the electrical print in the manual to see if the cables on the bike is the correkt ones to the headlight.
If you have a voltmeter you can also measure on the cables.
Its the ones that puts out positive power (11-14v) that you are going to connect to the newkit.
If you only look at the wire colures, its the ones that is NOT ground/earth that are going to be connected the the new bulb.
