Plastics year compatibilty

Hello

Does anyone know if plastics are compatible over different years?

I have an 07 FE550 and wonder if 04 plastics will fit?

00-08 are the same.
The new tank that came in 2006 require the corresponding shrouds but other than that everything goes.

nice guys i have an 1997 fe 600 whats the latest year of comatable plastics tank ect? does anybody know if the fe 650 engine will bolt in to the frame or when the frame actually changed.thanks

You can use up to 1999 FE model fuel tanks and plastics.

Don't know about bolting up the engine. I don't think anyone here has tried it.
